When a disc filled with some of the CIA's most irrelevant secrets gets in the hands of two determined but dimwitted gym employees, the two are intent on exploiting their find. But since blackmail is a trade better left to the experts, events soon spiral out of everyone's control, resulting in a nonstop series of hilarious encounters.

The Coen Brothers have been doing surrealist comedies (in between groundbreaking melodramas) for so long now that theyâ€™ve managed to integrate players from both their old (Frances McDormand) and new schools (George Clooney, Brad Pitt). The resulting Burn After Reading is a hilarious, if pointless, spoof of CIA thrillers and all the intrinsic red tape. John Malkovich and Tilda Swinton round out an exceptional cast.
