Pianist Dave Brubeck reinvents himself with each new release, but his 7th album is altogether special. The session, born during a 1994 winter storm, happened while his entire family had gathered in Connecticut for the holidays and the studio unexpectedly became available. Dave and his sons-Darius (piano), Chris (bass trombone and electric bass), Danny (drums, and Mathew (cello) joined together to record six of the ten tracks on this CD.
