In 2001 Eagle embarked on a solo career doing shows at the Laura Dance Festivals, Yungaburra Folk Festivals, Port Douglas Carnivals and regular live shows in the North acquiring a broad following of locals and tourists from all over Australia and NZ. Playing the guitar at eleven years old, he was later trained to song write by Greg McCainsh from the Skyhooks and Beeb Burtle from L.R.B.
